General Election 2024 : DAY-1 of Nomination

Namchi, March 20 (IPR): On the first day of filing of nomination, no nomination was received at the office of the Returning Officers for Assembly Constituencies for General Elections 2024 under Namchi District, today.
Election under Namchi district will be held in seven Assembly Constituencies, namely 09 Barfung AC, 10 Poklok-Kamrang AC, 11 Namchi-Singhithang AC, 12 Melli AC, 13 Namthang Ratyepani AC, 14 Temi-Namphing AC and 15 Rangang-Yangang AC.
It may be informed that the filing of nomination will be done between 11am to 3PM, till the last date i.e, 27th March, except on public holidays and on 4th Saturday i.e. on 23rd, 24th and 25th of March. The scrutiny of nomination will be taken up on 28 March whereas the withdrawal of candidature will be held on 30th March.
