General Observer chairs a meeting with Nodal Officers for 2024 Bye-Elections at Namchi

Namchi, October 25 (IPR): Mr Moneesh Kumar (IAS), the designated General Observer for the Namchi district, convened a meeting with the Nodal Officers assigned for the upcoming Bye-Election for the 11 Namchi-Singhithang constituency at the District Collector’s Chamber, DAC Namchi, today.
During this meeting, Mr Kumar was duly briefed by Ms. Anupa Tamling, DC Namchi and District Election Officer (DC/DEO) for Namchi. She provided a comprehensive overview of the various preparatory actions that have been implemented to ensure the smooth execution of the upcoming electoral process. The briefing encompassed a wide range of topics, including logistical arrangements, security measures, voter awareness campaigns, and the overarching framework established to facilitate a successful Bye-Election for the 11 Namchi-Singhithang Assembly Constituency.
As part of the meeting’s agenda, Mr Kumar engaged in interactions with the Nodal Officers, emphasising the imperative of vigilance in their respective roles. He underscored the importance of promoting a fair and transparent electoral process, urging all officers present to remain diligent in monitoring the election environment.
