General Observer for Namchi District visited two polling stations under 14 Temi Namphing Constituency
Namchi March 10: (IPR): General Observer for Namchi District, Mr. Amar Nath Upadhyay along with Assistant Returning Officer (ARO) Mr Sonam Palden Bhutia, Sector Magistrate Mr Wangyal Lepcha, Sector Police Officer Ms Joshna Gurung and Block Level Officers (BLOs) of 14 Temi Namphing Constituency visited two polling stations under the said constituency today.
He visited Temi Senior Secondary School and Tarku Secondary School to review the arrangements for upcoming polls in the above mentioned polling stations.
The General Observer reviewed on the availability of basic necessary facilities. He emphasized on imparting aggressive awareness in remote areas of the constituency under Namchi District. The General Observer also interacted with the locals and inquired on the various issues related with the upcoming polls. He also sought proper coordination from nodal officers with regard to hassle-free election process in a complete transparent and responsive manner.
Further, he urged the field functionaries engaged in their respective stations to remain more vigilant against occurrence of unusual incidents related with the polls.
