General Observer of 11-Namchi-Singhithang conducts meeting with political party representatives

Namchi, October 25 (IPR): Mr Moneesh Kumar (IAS) General Observer 11-Namchi-Singhithang conducted a meeting with political party representatives for the forthcoming Bye-Election 2024 at DAC Namchi.
The General Observer was accompanied by Ms Anupa Tamling, Returning Officer-cum-District Election Officer Namchi, Dr T N Gyatsho Bhutia, Sr SP Namchi, Mr Subash Ghimirey, ADC (HQ) Namchi and political party representatives.
On the outset, the General Observer assured that the electoral process will be fair and that all the EVMs in use are tampered proof. He also advised parties to campaign strictly within the guidelines of the Election Commission of India (ECI).
During his interaction with the representatives, he addressed the issues they raised and further assured that all the grievances and their demands would be attended to.
Lastly, he also appealed to the representatives to mobilise the voters to participate on the election day.
