General Observer visits Polling Station for 11-Namchi-Singhithang Bye-Election

Namchi, October 25 (IPR): Mr Moneesh Kumar, IAS, General Observer for Namchi District, undertook a visit to three polling stations situated within the 11 Namchi-Singhithang Assembly Constituency today.
The polling stations included Namchi Senior Secondary School, Namchi Old Primary School and Namchi New Secondary School.
The purpose of this visit was to assess the arrangements made at the polling stations in preparation for the forthcoming Bye-Election in the Assembly Constituency.
During his visit, the General Observer engaged with the Block Level Officer to enquire about the existing awareness regarding the significance of the electoral process and to advocate for an increased voter turnout in the election.
Moreover, he recommended enhancing the accessibility of polling stations for individuals with disabilities.
