Girls awareness/Adolescence Programme on Beti Bachao Beti Padhao organised by Namchi BAC

Namchi, 12th July: Girls awareness/Adolescence Programme on Beti Bachao Beti Padhao organised by Namchi BAC was held at Namchi Senior Secondary School, today.
Shri. T. B Subba(Finance Controller Samagra Siksha) was the chief guest for the programme and it was attended by Shri. K.Inbaraj(CEO Education Department, Namchi District).A.D Samagra Shiksha,A.D Namchi BAC along with other officials.
Mrs. Tek Maya Sharma, Resource Person from District Child Protection Unit provided awareness on Adolescence Girl and Hygiene.
School heads under Namchi BAC, Girls participants from JHS to Sr. Sec.Schools participated in various inter School competitions, such as painting, essay and speech. The winners of the competition were awarded with certificates and token of love.
The aim of the programme was to provide opportunities for for Children and to provide awareness regarding Importance of Education,Adolescence period and its coping mechanism.
