Governor of Sikkim Shri Lakshman Prasad Acharya embarked on his three-day official visit to Namchi District arrived at Temi Tea

Namchi, 7th May(IPR): Governor of Sikkim Shri Lakshman Prasad Acharya embarked on his three-day official visit to Namchi District arrived at Temi Tea Estate, today.
He is accompanied by the First Lady of Sikkim Smt. Kumud Devi.
Upon the arrival, the Governor was accorded a Guard of Honor by the 3rd IRBn Mangley at Temi Tea Guest house.
Thereafter, the Governor visited the tea factory located at Temi Tea Estate wherein he was briefed on the functioning and tea making process. In addition, he also interacted with the officials and tea workers to enquire on their well-being and other grievances.
The Governor also visited Samdruptse and Siddheshwar Dham in Namchi, respectively. Wherein, he offered his prayers for the peace and prosperity of Sikkimese people.
Throughout the visit, the Governor was accompanied by DC(Namchi) Mr. M Bharani Kumar, ASP(Namchi) Mr. Parshu Sharma, SDM (Headquarters) Mr. Chiran Rizal and other officials of the district.
It may be mentioned here that during his three-day visit to the district, the Governor will hold an interaction session with the heads of departments, school students, and other gentry of the district. The visit will conclude on the 9th May.
