Meeting regarding the formation of the Steering Committee for the Aspirational Block Program of Namchi block held at the office of District Magistrate

Namchi, 4th September: A meeting regarding the formation of the Steering Committee for the Aspirational Block Program of Namchi block was held at the office of Districts Magistrate, Namchi.
The meeting was chaired by DM, Shri M.Bharani along with the District Heads of Education, Health, Agriculture, AH& VS, Horticulture, Welfare and Rural Development Departments.
During the meeting, the District Magistrate highlighted the importance of the Aspirational Block program initiated by NITI Aayog, Govt. of India. He informed all the concerned departments about the submission of data of the district as well as the block level considering indicators as framed by the NITI Aayog.
As per the direction of NITI Aayog, Steering Committee for ABP was formed under the chairmanship of District Magistrate to work upon and guide the field officials in preparation of Block Development strategy in bringing saturation to all indicators.
