MMMD Campaign at Sangmoo- Rankey GPU

Namchi, 14th August: Sangmoo Rankey Gram Panchayat Unit celebrated Meri Mati Meri Desh (MMMD) at Sangmoo Secondary School. Advisor Industries and commerce Mr. Kado Tshering Namka was the Chief Guest, present amongst others were Subidar,6/11 GR Mr. chang Tshering and Head Master Sangmoo Secondary school Mr. Tshering Doma Bhutia , students and self help groups.
The celebration started with the inauguration of Shilaphalakam, the memorial plaque by Chief Guest and others. Additionally, National flag was also hosted.
Panchayat Inspector Ms.Priya Dahal, informed the gathering about the importance of Meri Maati Meri Desh, campaign. Praan Pledge was also undertaken with a handful of Mitti and diyas. 75 local saplings were planted under vasuda Vandhan at the School premise.
Advisor Mr. Kado Tshering Namka who is also the recipient of president medal in 2022 and Suvidar Chang Tshering was feliciated under veero ka Vandan. The miiti (Soil) from all wards under Sangmoo Rankey was collected in an earthen pot and shall be brought to BAC on 17/08/2023.
