Namchi District commences on the first phase of Intensified Mission Indradhanush (IMI) 5.0

Namchi, 7th August: Namchi district has commenced the first phase of Intensified Mission Indradhanush (IMI) 5.0 at Junior High School Singithang, today. Chief Education Officer Shri K Inbaraj, officially launched the IMI 5.0 he was accompanied by Panchayat President (Mikhola Singithang) Shri Suren Rai, Singithang (Ward Panchayat) Shri Sarad Rai, CMO (South) Dr S.N. Adhikari, DRCHO (South) Dr B.K. Chauhan, CNO Smt Bijaylaxmi Rai, DPHNO Smt Jayanti Sharma, JD (Education) Shri P.K. Sharma, DD (Education) Smt Mamta Subba, CDPO (WCD) Shri Laxman Tamang, General Secretary Drishti NGO Shri Passang Bhutia along side IEC officials, MCH ANMs, ASHAs, AWWs and other beneficiaries.
The purpose of the programme is to reach out to children belonging to 0-5 years who have missed their doses, unvaccinated pregnant women and to register them on U-WIN, as per their planned IMI sessions.
The vaccination this year is taking place in three rounds from 7th to 12th August, 11th to 16th September, and from 9th to 14th October 2023.
During the course of the programme the Chief Guest distributed certificates to children and pregnant mothers on completion of their respective vaccinations.
