Namchi District Zilla Panchayat (NDZP) conducts in-house meeting at the conference hall of NDZP

Namchi, Feburary 7 (IPR): Namchi District Zilla Panchayat conducted a meeting regarding first financial years 2025-2026 at confrence hall NDZP, today.
The program was chaired by Ms Anjeeta Rajalim (Zilla Adhakshya) accompanied by Mr Bikash Tamang (UPA-Adhakshya), Ms Anupa Tamling (Sachiva NDZP/DC Namchi), Mr BB Tamang (DPO), Mr Popo Tshering Bhutia (AO), Mr Sanjeev Kumar Rajalim (DE), Mr Sagar Rai (Dy.Dir), Ms Nina Chhosang Sherpa (US) along with Zilla Panchayat members and staff of NDZP.
During the meeting, Ms Anjeeta Rajalim sincerely thanked the esteemed members for their presence. She gave a brief overview of the funds allocated for 2025-2026, sharing key insights into the financial planning and budgeting process. She also facilitated an open house discussion with the Zilla members, allowing them to voice their concerns. Acknowledging their grievances, Ms Rajalim assured them of her support and assistance.
Ms Rajalim provided an update on the Zilla Panchayat’s progress report, emphasizing key accomplishments, challenges, and future plans. Her insightful presentation offered a clear overview of the panchayat’s efforts and encouraged a productive discussion among the attendees.
Ms Anupa Tamling discussed strategies for the development of Namchi District, emphasizing the need for collaboration from the GPU to the Zilla level. She stressed the importance of documenting and maintaining records of all completed work. Additionally, she urged locals to identify unused government structures and submit proposals to the DC’s office, as many buildings constructed by various departments remain unutilized and could be repurposed for other projects.
Mr Popo Tshering Bhutia provided an overview of the funds under the 5th SFC (1st and 2nd Instalment for 2024-2025) and discussed strategies for effective planning and necessary improvements allocated to the department.
Additionally, Mr Sagar Rai (Dy. Dir) had a brief discussion with the house regarding the presentation of the plan and proposal for the year 2025-2026. He also addressed the monthly progress report on pending projects and assured the timely completion of all incomplete projects across the district.
The meeting also focused on the fair distribution of funds allocated to the respective Zilla Panchayats. It fostered positive interactions between the parties involved, who expressed a commitment to working together as a team.
