Namchi Duathlon 2023 held at Bhaichung Stadium

Namchi,13th May (IPR) : Namchi Duathlon 2023 organised by Department of Sports & Youth Affairs, Namchi in collaboration with District Administration Centre under the banner of Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan was held today at Bhaichung Stadium.
Advisor, Skill Development Department Mr. Satish Chandra Rai graced the event as a chief guest and Welfare Officer, Social Welfare Department,Namch Mr. kyondit Lepcha as Special Guest
The total no. of participants were 60
Men – 53
Women – 07.
The Duathlon was flagged off from Bhaichung Stadium covering Char Dham crossings then to Bhaygang and back to Namchi.
The result for Men Category were as follows:
1st position – Tajum Dere from Arunachal Pradesh
2nd Position – Sudhanshu Limbu from Darjeeling
3rd- Position – Raaz Rai from Salghari Namchi District
And the result for Women Category were as follows.
1st position – Lindum Kiakia from Arunachal Pradesh
2nd position- Shital Chettri from Siliguri
3rd position – Sabitri Rai from Namchi.
