Namchi Government Senior Secondary School hosts felicitation programme for top performing Students

Namchi,Dec 5(IPR): Madam Krishna Rai attended the Felicitation Programme for Top Performing Students at Namchi Senior Secondary School (NSSS), Namchi today.
The day also witnessed the presence of Ms Anjeeta Rai Zilla Adhyaksha, Chairpersons, Advisors, Ms Sunita Pradhan Secretary Education Councillors(Namchi Municipal Council), Mr Hari Thapa Manger, Principal(NSSS), Mr Dhan Bdr Rai Chief Education Officer(CEO), HoDs from the line department, Alumni along with teachers and students of various schools under Namchi district.
While addressing the gathering, Madam Krishna Rai congratulated the top performing students for their commitments and determination in their respective fields.
she also stressed on practicing and promoting the traditional pattern of learning experiences and informed about value education that entails moral and skill grounded values among students.
Likewise, she also highlighted the various scholarship schemes under Government of Sikkim that aims to provide free education to talented and deserving students.
She also applauded the state government regularisation policy for probationary teachers and highlighted several developmental projects and schemes that has been launched for the welfare of people.In-addition she informed about raising concerns on suicidal cases of students, where she urged students to focus on their interest of learning and strive for the excellence.
Principal(NSSS) Mr. Hari Thapa Manger presented the School’s report, wherein he enlightened about school’s establishment and its achievements till date. He also applauded the unwavering dedication and collaborative efforts of school’s faculties, coaches, stakeholders in providing holistic and progressive learning experience in the school.
During the programme, 65 top performing students were felicitated for their remarkable performances in the field of sports and academics.
Madam Krishna Rai along with other officers and stakeholders, who have contributed in the upliftment of the school were felicitated by the NSSS committee.
Earlier today, Madam Krishna Rai along with other dignitaries inspected the Teaching Learning Materials(TLM) which was displayed by the students.
