Namchi Zilla Panchayat office observes World Environment Day

During the occasion, every staff member contributed by bringing saplings, which they enthusiastically planted throughout the premises of NDZP. Their active involvement not only highlighted their commitment to environmental sustainability but also helped enhance the greenery and natural beauty of the NDZP campus.

In addition to the plantation drive, the NDZP premises also hosted a comprehensive cleanliness campaign, aligning with this year’s World Environment Day theme. Staff members and participants came together to clean the surroundings, focusing particularly on the removal of plastic waste and promoting proper waste disposal practices.

The plantation drive was participated by Zilla Adhakshya (Namchi) Ms Anjeeta Rai, Up-Adhakshya (Namchi) Mr Bikash Tamang, DPO (NDZP) Mr BB Tamang, AO(NDZP) Mr Popo Tshering Bhutia, Dy Dir (NDZP) Mr Sagar Rai, along with Zilla Panchayats and staff of NDZP.
