National Integration Day, 2023

Namchi, Nov 20(IPR): Mr Sanjeet Kharel Minister for Women and Child Development Department(W&CDD) administered the ‘National Integration Day’ pledge at the premises of District Administrative Centre, today.
Present during the pledge taking ceremony were Ms Ganga D Pradhan Secretary ( W&CDD) Mr M Bharani Kumar DC(Namchi), Mr Anant Jain ADC(Namchi), Ms Normit Lepcha Principal Director(W&CDD) along with the HoDs and staff of the line department.
National Integration Day is observed every year and holds great significance in the country as this day commemorates the birth anniversary of India’s first female Prime Minister Mrs Indira Gandhi. The day also celebrates the national integrity, secularism, non-violence and communal harmony among people.
