NIT Sikkim gears up for its 6th Convocation Ceremony at Ravangla on November 25, 2023

Namchi,22 Nov : NIT Sikkim is gearing up for its Sixth Convocation Ceremony on November 25, 2023, at the Tathagata Tsal (Buddha Park) in Ravangla. The Hon’ble Governor of Sikkim, Shri Lakshman Prasad Acharya, will be the Chief Guest, delivering the Convocation Address, while Shri Ramesh Kumar Saraogi, Chairman, Board of Governors, NIT Sikkim, will preside over the ceremony.
This year, NIT Sikkim will confer degrees on 7 Ph.D., 31 M.Tech., 16 M.Sc., and 144 B.Tech. graduates of 2023. Notably, 11 Gold Medals will be awarded in categories such as Departmental Gold Medal, Institute Gold Medal, and Director Gold Medal. Since its establishment in 2010 as an Institute of National Importance under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, NIT Sikkim has flourished in academics, collaborative research, and community outreach.
