Nomination Process Concludes for 11-Namchi-Singhithang AC Bye-Election 2024

Namchi, October 25 (IPR): With the conclusion of the nomination period for the 11-Namchi-Singhithang Assembly Constituency (AC), a total of four candidates, including a substitute candidate from the Sikkim Democratic Front (SDF), successfully submitted their nominations at the office of the Returning Officer-cum-District Election Officer, Namchi, for the Bye-Election 2024.
The list of candidates is as follows:
1. Mr. Satish Chandra Rai – Sikkim Krantikari Morcha (SKM)
2. Mr. Mahesh Rai – Citizen Action Party (CAP)
3. Mr. Daniel Rai – Sikkim Democratic Front (SDF)
4. Ms. Yojna Rai (substitute candidate) – Sikkim Democratic Front (SDF)
The nomination papers will undergo scrutiny on October 28, 2024, by the Returning Officer-cum-District Election Officer at the District Administrative Centre (DAC) in Namchi.
