One day special workshop cum world entrepreneur’s day celebration observed by SIRD&PR Karfectar in collaboration with NABARD

Namchi, 22nd August: A one day special workshop cum world entrepreneur’s day celebration was observed by SIRD&PR Karfectar in collaboration with NABARD on 21st August 2023. The programme was attended by entrepreneurs from all over the state, along with officials from SIRD&PR Karfectar, Commerce and Industries Department GoS, NABARD, POSITRON, SRLM and SHGs members. The programme was organised to promote Rural Entrepreneur and to promote Rural Economy.
The unique celebration was graced by the Hon’ble chairman Industries department GoS, Shree. M.B Chettri as chief guest and also present on the occasion was the Director SIRD&PR, GM Industries, Director MSME and DGM NABARD as special invites and individual entrepreneurs from across the state.
The programme started with the short welcome address by the Director SIRD&PR Shree. Bishal Mukhia. He highlighted about the objectives of the program and said that every year, World Entrepreneurs Day is observed on August 21 to celebrate renowned entrepreneurs and business leaders.
The Chief Guest of the programme Hon’ble Chairman Shree. M.B. Chettri on his address highlighted that the state government is very much concern about the youths and wants every youth to be self dependent/employed. Keeping this in priority the Government has launched state youth start-up scheme (SYSS). He also highlighted the Governments dedication towards entrepreneurs who are starting their own business venture. He also congratulates SIRD&PR for taking such initiative and empowering young entrepreneurs.
GM Industries AD Rai also highlighted about the start-up schemes and urged youths to avail benefit of the scheme. DGM NABARD, Shree Prabin Mulay highlighted the crucial role and responsibility of a financial institution in support of entrepreneurs.
The event saw many entrepreneurs sharing their experience and their journey towards establishing a successful profitable business ventures. This was a good motivational take away from the programme.
The programme ended with vote of thanks proposed by Ms Suraksha Rai Dy.Director SIRD&PR.
