Namchi, April 14: (IPR) On the second day of postal voting for essential services 21 votes were cast today at the Postal Voting Centre at District Administrative Centre Conference Hall, Namchi.
Mrs Annapurna Alley DEO cum District Collector Namchi informed that the last date for Postal Ballot Voting at Facilitation Centre is 15.04.2024 for all Categories.
She further added that the voters who have filled Form 12 and whose Postal Ballots have been prepared will not be allowed to vote at Polling Stations on the day of Poll ie. 19.04.2024, even if they have been exempted from their poll day duty.
Therefore, they are hereby directed to cast their vote at the Facilitation Centre latest by 15.04.2024 beyond which the District Administration shall not be held responsible for their inability to cast votes.
