Prayer offered at Samdruptse, Namchi for the welfare of Sikkim and its people during the ocassion of Pang Lhabsol

Namchi, 10th September (IPR) : During the occasion of Pang Lhabsol, a prayer was offered at Samdruptse, Namchi for the welfare of Sikkim and its people.
This prayer ceremony was organised by Samdruptse Puja Committee where people from in and around Namchi had come to offer their devotion and gratitude towards all of Sikkim’s guardian deities who protect the State and it’s people all through the year.
Pang Lhabsol is celebrated to offer respect and homage to the third highest mountain, Mount Kanchenjunga, the guardian deity of Sikkim. It also commemorates the treaty of brotherhood among Lepchas and Bhutias. It signifies the unity of the Sikkimese.
