PRESS RELEASE FROM BAC TEMI, NAMCHI DISTRICT

Namchi, 17 September: On the auspicious occasion of the birthday of Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi,cheque distribution programs under the Sikkim Aama Shashaktikaran Yojana and Sikkim Aama Sahayog Yojana were organized at three different locations for the Temi-Namphing Constituency, with the aim of honoring and recognizing mothers from across the region.
The selection of these three venues was made with the convenience of the beneficiaries,ensuring accessibility for mothers from all parts of the constituency.
The programs were ceremonially led by the Hon’ble Area MLA, Shri Bedu Singh Panth, who personally handed over cheques to the beneficiaries. The distribution commenced at Bermiok GPK proceeded to Tarku (Zero Mile), and concluded at the Namphing Playground.
The event witnessed the gracious presence of the CLC President, newly appointed Chairpersons- Science and Technology Department and water Resource Department,OSD to the Hon’ble MLA,the Block Development Officer, as well as the Hon’ble Zilla Panchayats and Gram Panchayats from all five GPUs under the constituency.
