Namchi, 11 July: The National Training Program for Booth Level Officers(BLOs) and Supervisors commenced on 9th July till 14 th july 2025 under the supervision of District Collector cum District Election Officer, Namchi , Ms. Anupa Tamling and the Electoral Registration Officer of all Assembly Constituencies at Conference Hall, DAC Namchi.
The training is being delivered by Assembly Level Master Trainer(ALMTs) Shri Praveen Gautam, SDM Namthang and Shri Upendra Rai, BDO Nanchi.
A total of 139 BLOs and 18 Supervisors from various Polling Station under Assembly Constituencies of Namchi District participated enthusiastically in this training program.
In accordance to the guidelines and directives from ECI , this revised training session is being conducted focusing on error free electoral rolls, effective forms management and last mile delivery of electoral services to the citizen.
The training aimed to enhance the knowledge and capacity of BLOs on key aspects of voter enrollment, correction process, voters list management, ensuring inclusion especially for vulnerable groups including women, senior citizen and PWDs.
This training is part of a series of initiatives by Commission to empower field level officer and improve the efficiency and accuracy of the electoral process.
