Namchi, 29 November: A meeting was conducted today in the auditorium of Namchi Girls SSS to review the results of recently conducted Pre-board examinations of Class X in government schools under Namchi District.
The meeting was chaired by Mrs. Tseringkee Chingapa, Director, Planning/SE, Gangtok and was attended by Mrs. Anugraha Rai, JD, SE, Gangtok, Mrs.Doma Zimba, JD, Textbook, Gangtok, Mr. Basudev Adhikari, JD, SCERT, Gangtok,
Assistant Directors from all the BACs under Namchi District, HOIs of all Secondary and Senior Secondary Schools, teachers teaching Mathematics and Science in Class X and officials from the DEO, Namchi.
The meeting began with a welcome speech by Mr. G.P. Sharma, JD, DEO, Namchi where he emphasized on the importance of CM Mentorship Programme and appealed to all to leave no stone unturned to make the dream of our Hon’ble Chief Minister come true.
The welcome speech was followed by a Block-wise, school-wise and subject-wise detailed step by step presentation and analysis of the recently conducted pre-board examination by Mr. D. B. Rai, JD, DEO, Namchi where he urged everyone to work hand in hand to make the CM Mentorship programme a grand success.
He also directed the HOIs to accelerate the APAAR ID generation of students and assured his full support in case of any difficulty faced by the schools.
This was followed by a speech by Mrs. Anugraha Rai, JD, SE, Gangtok where she highlighted that more focus should be made on students who have failed badly in the pre-board exams and ensured full support to the schools.
Mrs. Tseringkee Chingapa, Director, Planning/SE, Gangtok on her speech highlighted the importance of CM Mentorship Programme which is to commence from 16th December,2024 and will continue for a month and stated that the Department will always come forward to support the schools.
She announced that the Department proposes to award the teachers who produce 100% result in their respective subjects and urged the HOIs to ensure 100% attendance of students in the centres.
She also asked the JD, DEO, Namchi to see to it that if any additional coaching centres are required so that the students may not face any type of inconvenience.
She appealed to all present to work diligently to make this programme a success.
After a healthy and fruitful interaction, the programme was concluded with a vote of thanks by Mrs. Angela Bhutia, Coordinator, Samagra Siksha, DEO, Namchi.
