Relocation of Electronic Voting Machines to District Administrative Centre Namchi Under Supervision of DC

Namchi, 7 August 2024 (IPR): The relocation of Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) from Namchi Government College’s warehouse to the District Administrative Centre Namchi was successfully completed today.
The process was conducted under the supervision of Ms. Anupa Tamling, District Collector (DC) Namchi. She was accompanied by Mr. Subash Ghimirey, Additional District Collector (ADC) Namchi, Ms. Bhumika Chettri, Deputy Director of the Election Cell, and Mr. Karma Choda Bhutia, Deputy Director of LR&DM, among other officials.
Earlier, DC Namchi authorized the opening of the warehouse at the Election Cell at 9:30 AM to facilitate the transfer of non-functional EVMs to the Gangtok District Administrative Centre (DAC).
