Review meeting chaired by MP cum Chairperson Parliamentary Standing Committee of Housing and Urban Affairs Shri. Rajiv Ranjan Singh at the conference hall of Integrated Command and Control Centre (ICCC) at Namchi

Namchi, 28th April(IPR): The Hon’ble Member of Parliament cum Chairperson of the Parliamentary Standing Committee of Housing and Urban Affairs Shri. Rajiv Ranjan Singh chaired a review meeting at the conference hall of Integrated Command and Control Centre (ICCC) at Namchi, today. The Chairperson was accompanied by the members of the Standing Committee.
The Additional Chief Town Planner (CTP) cum Nodal Officer Shri. Navin Rai presented the Power Point (PPT) presentation, wherein he gave a brief report on the backgrounds of Namchi. He also spoke in-depth about the Status of the proposals under Namchi Smart City Limited (NSCL) and highlighted the projects which has been successful implementated in the district as well.
In addition to the meeting, the Members of the Standing Committee also inspected the Command and Control Rooms at the ICCC.
The meeting also saw substantial discussion and suggestions put forth by the attendees, with regards to the centrally sponsored schemes and policies and its execution, till date.
The representative from the State Government were Secretary (Urban Development Department) Shri. M.T Sherpa, CEO (Namchi Smart City Limited) Shri. Thupden Gyatsho Bhutia, Additional CTP (UDD)Shri. Dinker Gurung, Additional CTP cum Nodal Officer Shri. Navin Rai Namchi Smart City Limited. Also present during the meeting were the representatives from MoUHA, UDD, NSCL, NMC, NHB, SBI and other officials from Government of India and Government of Sikkim.
The delegates also visited Siddheshwar Dham and offered their prayers.
Earlier today, the Hon’ble Chairperson and MPs of the Parliamentary Standing Committee of Housing and Urban Affairs were warmly welcomed by the Minister of UDD Shri. L.B. Das, Chairman N.M.C, Shri. Ganesh Rai, DC (Namchi) Shri. M Bharani Kumar, Councillors (Namchi Municipal Council) and officials from the SBI and NSCL.
