Sikkim wins the tag for Best Experience Sharing Speech at National Youth Festival 2023

Namchi, 16th Jan : National Youth Festival (NYF) is usually organized every year from 12th to 16th January. 12th January being the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, the great philosopher and thinker, is observed as National Youth Day.
The Festival is a National Integration Camp on a mega scale and this year it was observed at Dharwad Kerela.
The festival is usually inaugurated on 12th January where all the State contingents participate in the march past in their respectivetraditional costume /attire followed by cultural events as decided by the State Government. Competitive Events are held as individual as well as group items.
A panel of Judges drawn from reputed institutions judge the performances. Our youths also participated enthusiastically in different events.
Various competitive events held during the festival are distributed in which youths from all over India participated and gained a whole lot of experience from the inspiring events. When told to share experiences about the five day long National Youth Festival 2023, nine rounds were held for selecting the best Experience Sharing Speech in which every youth of state shared their experiences.
In the final selection, Sikkim and Lhadak bagged the winners for the Best Experience Sharing Speech. Mr. Bhim Subba from Melli representing NYKS Sikkim will be presenting on closing ceremony and will be sharing his experience during the festival on the stage of National Youth Festival 2023 Vikshit Yuva Vikshit Bharat.
