Six member of Sikkim State Team participated in the 1st Khelo India National Taekwondo Womens League 2023-24

A Six member of Sikkim State Team participated in the 1st Khelo India National Taekwondo Womens League 2023-24. The event was organized by Odisha Taekwondo Association at Cuttack, J. N Indoor Stadium from 9th March to 11th March 2024. The event was promoted by Taekwondo Federation of India and Khelo India, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India.
Miss. Joyce Kuenscel Tenzing from P.M Shree Girls Sr. Sec School / Sports Authority of India Namchi Cadet secured silver medal under 51kg category. The other athletes who participated in the tournament were Miss. Mandira Chettri of Namchi Govt. College/ Sports Authority of India Namchi Senior (under 57kg category), Miss. Sulochana Limboo Uttaray West Sikkim/ Sports Authority of India Guwahati
(Senior under 46kg category) and Miss. Tshering Diki Tamang of P.M Shree Deorali Girls Sr. Sec School (Junior under 52kg category)
The Team was led by Shri. Pawan Kumar Subba (Nazitam Govt. Sec. School) as a team Coach and Shri. Ratan Baraily (E. L Bethel Academy, Pakyong) as a Team Manager
