Special block-level banker committee meeting organized at Poklok GPU hall

Namchi,12th October: A special block-level banker committee meeting was organized at Poklok GPU hall.
Present during the meeting were the members of Zilla Panchayat, Panchayat President of Tinik – Chisopani , Poklok GPU and Denchung GPU, Ward Panchayat, BDO Jorethang Mr. Mukesh Dahal, SHG members, Farmer’s CFL Project Crisil Foundation, SRLM and staffs of BAC.
During the meeting, following agendas were discussed.
1) “Ghar Ghar KCC Campaign”- Mr.Gadadhar Raj, Chief Manager, SLBC provided awareness on KCC and it’s process. KCC loan is subsidy Government Schemes specialy for farmers. This loan consists7% with interest subvension 4% loan upto-3 lakhs.
2) Other schemes for ruler areas like P.M. Biswakarma loan with interest 5% PMEGP loan especially for Homestay, tourist vehicles with interest subsidy 15% to 35%, and PM Swanidhi Schemes, stand -up India for lady upto 10 lakhs.
3) Awareness on Jansweaksha Schemes ( PMJJBY and PMSBY) also provided by the Chief Manager.
4) BDO- Mr. Mukash Dahal provided awareness on different subsidy loan scheme and their repayment and continuous follow-up loan activity and regular repayment. He also focused on group collective activities, especially on SHGs. He also encouraged different enterprises to rapport building with bank.
5) Mr Hem Kumar Chettri, Area Manager central for financial literacy provided awareness on CFL and it’s function and objectives. He also provided awareness on PMJJBY and PMSBY and how one can avail its benefit.
The next meeting will be held after three months. The program concluded with a vote of thanks given by Chief Manager, SCBC.
