The 40 Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) allocated for the Bye-Election 2024

Namchi, November 29(IPR): The 40 Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) allocated for the Bye-Election 2024, which were previously stored in the strong room at Senior Secondary School Namchi, were safely transferred back to the Election Warehouse, today.
The strong room was opened at 12:54 PM in strict accordance with the protocols set by the Election Commission of India. Following this, the EVMs were securely transported, adhering to the standard operating procedures. Later, the election warehouse was closed at 2PM.
The entire process was carried out under the supervision of ADC Namchi, Mr. Subash Ghimirey and Deputy Secretary (Election), Mrs. Bhumika Chettri, and had the presence of representatives from various political parties.
