The closing ceremony of ‘Sampoornata Abhiyan’ 2024 under Aspirational Block Programmes held at the conference hall of District Administrative Centre, Namchi

Namchi, October 3(IPR): The closing ceremony of ‘Sampoornata Abhiyan’ 2024 under Aspirational Block Programmes was held at the conference hall of District Administrative Centre, today.
The event was graced by Mr Bikash Tamang Upadhakshya Namchi district as the chief guest. He was accompanied by Panchayat Presidents and members, Ms Anupa Tamling DC Namchi, Mr Subash Ghimirey ADC(HQ), Mr Saran Kalikotey SDM Namchi, Mr SN Adhikari CMO Namchi, Ms Nirmala Moktan Additional Director Agriculture Department along with other members of the Selp Help Groups, Anganwadi workers and helpers, officers and staff from the line departments.
In his address, Mr Bikash Tamang Upahakshya expressed gratitude to the Zillas and Panchayat members for their efforts in the programme’s success and urged continued collaboration for future missions. He also discussed various initiatives led by the Chief Minister, including the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan aimed at promoting a healthy lifestyle in the district.
Ms Anupa Tamling DC Namchi outlined the six key indicators of the Sampoornata Abhiyan and acknowledged the contributions of line departments. She also emphasised that the programme was solely designed to benefit the public and uplift the district through various levels.
Ms Methela Rai also highlighted the achievements of the programme, reiterating its importance across various sectors such as health, nutrition, education, and social development and basic infrastructure.
Mr Yograj Pradhan Agriculture Development Officer KVK Namthang informed about the establishment of Soil Testing Lab in Namthang and highlighted various schemes and its target achieved till date.
