Namchi, Feb 7 (IPR): The final round of training for RO, AERO, Nodal Officers, and ALMTs of Namchi, Soreng, and Gyalshing district commenced at Karfectar, today.
The training was led by distinguished resource personnel, Mr Dhiraj Subedi ADC Soreng, Ms Bhumika Chettri Deputy Secretary Election Cell, Namchi and Mr Dilip Sharma DPO Zilla Soreng.
Mr Dhiraj Subedi provided crucial insights into the qualifications and disqualification criteria that ROs and AEROs should be well-versed in, emphasising relevant sections under the RP Act 1951. His detailed session included an in-depth explanation of the Nomination Process for candidates.
Ms Bhumika Chettri shared invaluable knowledge on the Dos and Don’ts of Scrutiny of Nomination, Withdrawal of Candidates, and the intricate process of Allotment of Symbols.
Mr Dilip Sharma enlightened participants on the pivotal roles of ROs and AEROs during Poll Day, shedding light on the latest updates in rules by the Election Commission of India (ECI).
Notably, Mr M. Bharani Kumar, DC Gaylsing, actively participated in the entire training session.
