The First Tendong Run, 2023

Namchi, 13th August (IPR): The first edition of Tendong Run themed “A run for the environment’ organized by Brothers on Wheels Motorcycle Club and supported by District Administrative Centre, Namchi was held from IHCAE to Tendong Hill on 12th August.
This run was composed of two adventures component which featured a 5 km road level run and 3 km uphill run from Damthang Bazaar to Tendong Hill.
The run saw over 150 participants from various places. They also planted Rhodendron sapling at Tendong Hill.
The winners in women’s category were Chandra Kala Sharma, Phurba Tamang and Rakhee Rai.
Simarly, in men’s category the winners were as follows Bikash Bhujel, Mohit Subba and Krishna Kailash Rai.
