Namchi, 30th September: The Namchi Health & Family Welfare Department has also launched the “Ayushman Bhava” campaign alongwith the rest of the country in order to achieve comprehensive coverage of the health scheme across the district. The four-month-long campaign will reach out to every household and aims to cover the populace. Activities planned under the program includes weekly ayushman health melas under Ayushman Bhava campaign which was carried at various HWC-PHSCs, HWC-PHCs, and HWC-CHC across Namchi District, today.
This Mela will offer access to comprehensive primary health care services with drugs and diagnostics, teleconsultation with health specialists, and referral facilities, with special priorities to marginalized people for a continuum of care. It will also aid in the creation of ABHA cards and issuance of PMJAY cards for eligible citizens including follow-up of PMJAY-treated beneficiaries. Population-based screening for hypertension, diabetes, and three common cancers such as oral, breast, and cervical. Moreover, there will also be full coverage of routine immunization.
This campaign aims to Ensure Saturation Coverage of Health Schemes and has three main components of an intervention under the umbrella of ‘Ayushman Bhavah’ that is Ayushman – Apke Dwar 3.0, Ayushman Melas- weekly at all HWC-PHSCs, HWC-PHCs and HWC-CHC and Ayushman Sabhas on 2nd October 2023 and eventually ensuring the title of Ayushman Gram Panchayat or Ayushman Urban Ward. Furthermore, Seva Pakhwada consists of Swachhata Abhiyan, Blood Donation Camp, and Organ donation pledges to be carried out.
