Tokal Bermiok HWC-PHC carried out various health activities at Namphing Srikrishna Pranami Mandir, Temporary Relief Camp

Namchi, 12th October: Tokal Bermiok HWC-PHC,carried out various health activities at Namphing Srikrishna Pranami Mandir, Temporary Relief Camp.
With regards to this, Dr. Urgen Sherpa, the District Nodal Officer from Namchi District Hospital, visited the relief camp. During his visit, he interacted with all the medical staff , Pranami committee members. He also oversaw the affected area and inspected the Mobile Village clinic that has been set up at Adarsh Goan.
The Health Department is carrying out regular Health Checkup of affected victims located in the relief camp. Regular rounds has been taken by Dr.Bhumika Dulal(MO) alongside Dr. Sonam Jorden Bhutia (Dental Surgeon) and the medical team.
Counselling & Yoga session is also being continuously conducted, the team have also engaged children in Recreational activities.
World Sight Day was also observed at the camp wherein the team emphasized upon the importance of maintaining good eye health and imparted on the various types of eye exercises.
It maybe mentioned that the health team has also disinfecting the Namphing Relief Camp and in Adarsh Goan Durga Mandir.
