Training On Youth Leadership And Community Development Concludes

Namchi, 11th Jan (IPR): The three-day-long training program on Youth Leadership & Community Development organized by Nehru Yuva Kendra Namchi, under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports was concluded here at Namchi, today.
The program was aimed to provide an opportunity as well as to impart personality development training to the youth. Additionally, it was focused on generating awareness among participating youth on community development, communication skill values of volunteerism, service, social commitment, and patriotism.
On the concluding day cum closing ceremony, Mrs. Tek Maya Sharma, Ms. Zeba Ansari, Mr. Kul Prashad Karki, and Mr. Tenzing W Bhutia were present as resource persons.
A total of 51 NYK volunteers from the district attended the training session.
Addressing, DYO(Namchi)Mr. Muskan Rai highlighted the detailed report of activities conducted during the program. He mentioned the significance of the training session which is to enhance the capabilities of young people to take leadership and help towards the nation-building process. Further, he also exhorted the trainees to make the most out of the training session to unlock their full potential.
During the program, the resource persons gave a detailed presentation on the topics such as the role of social media, entrepreneurship, understanding of child rights violations, protection issue, and the child care helpline. In addition, the trainees were also presented with certificates for their participation in the training.
