Union Minister of State for the Ministry of Education Mrs Annpurna Devi, who is on a four-day official visit to Sikkim, arrived at Namchi

Namchi, 28 April(IPR): Union Minister of State for the Ministry of Education Mrs Annpurna Devi, who is on a four-day official visit to Sikkim arrived at Namchi, today.
Upon the arrival, she was warmly welcomed by the UDD Hon’ble Minister,Urban Development Department, Mr Arun Upreti along with Advisor Skill Development Department Mr Satish Chandra Rai, Zilla Adhakshya (South) Mrs Tshering Dem Bhutia, NMC Chairperson Mr Ganesh Rai and local gentry.
The Union Minister was accompanied by Secretary, Education Department Mr Anil Raj Rai, DC(Namchi) Mr M Bharani Kumar, SSP( Namchi) Mr KL Tenzing along with officials of National Institute of Technology, Ravangla.
During the visit, Mrs Annpurna Devi attended the evening aarti at the Siddheshwar Dham and offered prayers to Lord Shiva.
Thereafter, she also toured the Sandruptse Complex. Wherein she offered her prayers to Guru Padmasambhava, who is revered to as Guru Rimpoche.
It may be mentioned here that the four-day official visit that commenced today will conclude on the 1st of May 2022.
