Visit by area MLA and district officials at Lower Mamring area

Namchi, 7th October (IPR) : Minister cum Area MLA Mr. Sanjit Kharel, ADC Namchi Mr. Anant Jain IAS , BDO Namthang Mr. Yogen Syangden, Incharge OP Namthang and concerned Panchayats visited Lower Mamring area where heavy debris have been accumulated and many houses and kaccha structure are buried under it.
The team from DAC Namchi have started the assessment of damage including structure , land , crops and livestocks. People along the river side have already been shifted to relief camp at Bhawana Academy.
They also visited Mamring Samardung road side, where the slide clearance and road opening work is under progress and is expected to clear the passage in next 2 days.
